APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION:
- Recommended: 2:1 gear ratio for 135-150HP.
- Recommended: 1.87:1 gear ratio for 175-200 HP
- It fits some 225HP engine using 2.4 liter powerhead. It does NOT fit the 3.0 liter 200 and 225HP engines.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
- Fits 25" midsections.
- 28" from top of the drive shaft to the mounting surface (top of housing) for 25" exhaust or midsectio
- Gear Ratio: 2:1 means gear Count: 14/28
- Gear Ratio: 1.87:1 means gear Count: 15/28
- 15 spline propeller shaft for 15 spline propellers.
- 13 splines driveshaft
- Bullet diameter 4-3/4"

IMPORTANT APPLICATION NOTES:
- Replaces MOST but maybe not all, Mercury 2.0, 2.4 and 2.5 liter V6 Engines - 135hp to 225hp
- No available with the optional 2.3:1 high altitude gear set.
- Not designed to replace Sport Master, Torque Master, CLE or other high performance gearcases
- 25" transom models 1988 and older use a five inch spacer between a standard 20" midsection and lower unit. Longer mounting studs were installed into those gearcases. The lower unit does not come with the longer studs. The old studs must be reused or new ones sourced elsewhere.
- Please note these models use a plastic water pump.
- You must verify your Gear Ratio.
- Comes with water pump
- Comes without oil.
