Infomation about Seastar SSC-62xx QC II Steering Cable
Replacement of Existing Cable: If possible, find the part number stamped on the plastic jacket of the old cable. If you removed the old cable, measure for the replacement cable as follows:

Fits: UNIVERSAL.
- Works with any outboard engine that has a tiilt tube and is designed for remote steering system.
- You may interchange Teleflex (Seastar) and Uflex cables and helms. but is better to keep the complete steering system with one brand to avoid difficulties.
- Either steering cable may fit Uflex Rotary Helms or Seastar Teleflex Safe T-QC Helms.
Infomation about Seastar SSC-62xx QC II Steering Cable
- Now one cable fits most SeaStar Solutions rotary systems from 1968 to present.
- Reduces inventory requirements and the need to stock complete kits for steering service.
- Directly replaces Uflex and Teleflex SSC6200 and 290 steering cables with no adapters.
- Features solid stainless steel engine output fittings for enhanced longevity and durability.
Replacement of Existing Cable: If possible, find the part number stamped on the plastic jacket of the old cable. If you removed the old cable, measure for the replacement cable as follows:
- For Rotary Steering Cable Replacement: Measure existing cable as follows: Measure plastic cable jacket in inches, add 18” and round up to the next foot. Order that length cable.
- For Rack Steering Cable Replacement: Measure existing cable as follows: Measure plastic cable jacket in inches, add 30” and round up to the next foot. Order that length cable.
