- Shift shaft kit to convert 70 to 125 HP motors from a 3 jaw clutch lower unit to a 6 jaw clutch lower unit.  
- It is used when installling a lower unit with 6 jaw reverse clutch in an engine that used to use a 3 jaw lower unit.  
- The shift shaft must be replaced for the new lowe runit at 6 jaw to be able to work and shift in your engine.

INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED.
A summary of the job that needs to be done is:
- Lift the powerhead, remove the old shift shaft and insert the new shift shaft in the hole.  
- Install the other parts for the shift linkage
- reinstall the power head with the gasket included.
