Sierra Mercruiser Mercury rubber bushing works for Alpha 1 and Alpha Generation 2 lower units for power trim. The size of this trim EPDM rubber bushing is an OD of 1-3/4" outside diameter with the inside diameter 5/8" ID. EPDM rubber is resistant to compression set allowing for non-metal on metal contact. Shore A 70 to 80 durometer EPDM rubber hardness makes this bushing effective under power usage. As with all rubber components exposed to sunlight and ozone degradation will occur over time require replacement. Sierra quality EPDM rubber compound will provide years of usage. Replaces Mercury OE # 23-99291T; Mercruiser R/MR/Alpha-1 sterndrives for serial # 6225277 and higher; older prior Alpha Gen-II drive units
