NEW aftermarket LOWER UNIT.  Design to fit MOST BUT MAYBE NOT ALL engine V6 from 150 to 235HP, years 1978 to 1991.

Once you pay the order, we will install driveshaft according to the length of your midsection.  Then, we install water pump kit, pressure test and add gearcase oil. Then, we ad 2 coats of paint, waiting 24 hours per coat for perfect drying and finally create a custom box.  SET UP PROCESS TAKES 3-4 DAYS.

You will need to use a 1991 or newer propeller thrust washer.

Please see important measurement below for fitting.

General Information:

• 20" or 25" driveshaft for 20" or 25" mid sections.
• 15 spline propeller shaft for 15 spline propellers.
• Designed for V6 engines 4 3/4 diameter in the bullet or propeller with diameter above 14"
• You will need to use a 1991 or newer prop thrust washer. You can use your old one whne installing the propeller.

IMPORTANT DIMENSSIONS for you to compare to your lower unit:

• Drive shaft measurements: From top of lower unit housing (same as the bottom of water pump) to top of drive shaft 21 3/4 or 26 3/4". if your measurements ends on 1/4 or 7/8 this lower unit do not fit (you will need newer style 1992-2005).  We have those as well.
•  Propeller shaft with 15 splines.  Propeller bullet 4 3/4 external diameter.
•  Shifter rod is not that big deal as you can use yours.
