This is a V4 lower unit with large gearcase housing (like V6) with gear ratio for V4.

Once you pay the order, we will install a NEW 20" or 25" driveshaft according to the length of your midsection.  PLEASE PROVIDE engine model number or the length of your midesection. Then, we install a NEW water pump kit, pressure test and ad NEW Sierra gearcase oil. Then, we ad 2 coats of paint, waiting 24 hours per coat for perfect drying and finally create a custom box.  SET UP PROCESS TAKES 3-4 DAYS.

General Information:

• 25" driveshaft for 25" midsections.
• 15 spline propeller shaft for 15 spline propellers.
• Gear ratio 2.25:1   Designed for V4 engines with large gearcase 4-3/4" diameter in the bullet or using propellers with diameter above 14"

IMPORTANT DIMENSSIONS for you to compare to your lower unit:

• Drive shaft measurements: From top of lower unit housing (same as the bottom of water pump) to top of drive shaft 21 1/4 or 26 1/4". if your drive ends on 3/4 or 7/8 this lower unit do not fit (you need older style 1978 to 91), but we have those as well.
• Propeller shaft with 15 splines. 
• Propeller bullet 4.75" external diameter.
• Shifter rod is not that big deal as you can use ours or yours.
