- Fuel Level Gauge
- Range: E - 1/2 - F
- Facrory number: GP7683
FEATURES:
- Polished stainless steel bezel, flat lens, perimeter lighted spun aluminum dial with gold and black graphics.
- Gold increments and logo on dial are embossed. All instruments include two piece Newport Pointer with black hub.
- Fit standard 2-1/16” and 3-3/8” gauge mounting holes.
- Made in USA.
- CE Certified.
- Easy installation.
Mounting Hole Information:
Size 2: 2" inch gauge (2.0625" mounting hole or 53 mm)
Faria Performance Tip for Calibration:
- GM Type = 0-90 ohms
- Ford/Chrysler = 73-10 ohms
- SW/AMC/Marine type = 240-33 ohms
- Resistance can be measured with an ohmeter at the sender at empty and full to determin correct gauge before ordering.
FROM FACTORY:
- Fuel Level gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauges's meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. The resistance of the sending units increase or decrease with the changes in pressure, temperature, ect.
- As the sender's resistance varies, the amount of current allowed to flow through it to ground changes and the meter deflects, showing the level of fuel.
