Boomstrut Black for Boats 25-30'

Boomstrut 44010 is designed for boats up to 6m (20ft) in length with a maximum boom tip weight of 6.3kg (14 lbs). Working alongside the existing kicker or rope vang it creates upward lift on the boom to keep the desired sail shape even in light winds. Manufactured with white rods and Spectro Anodised boom & mast fittings. The uplift created means that the boom will not fall onto the boat when the sail is lowered or the topping lift is released or removed. Suitable to be used with wooden, carbon fiber, or aluminum spars.

Patented flexing spring provides fast response and a constant force for vang efficiency

The boomstrut's lightweight, low-profile design features two flexible coated fibreglass rods which provide the force to support the boom. Pulling the boom down with a conventional kicker causes the Boomstrut to flex; releasing straightens the rods, thereby lifting and supporting the boom.

Mast fitting can use existing luff groove

To eliminate drilling, the Boomstrut's mast bracket can be slotted into your mast's luff groove.

Contoured boom fitting

The Boomstrut's boom bracket is contoured to fit both round and flat boom profiles.
